Padre Pio is known to have said "When I am close to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, I feel as if my heart is bursting out of my chest." My 33 day journey has deepened my love for the Holy Eucharistic …I pray I continue on this journey to strengthen my love for Jesus .and to live my life according to his word Thank you Father Lamar and everyone who assisted you in this journey! The daily prayer on the Laudate app says it all. Very fitting as I ended my 33 Days to Eucharistic Glory:
“Lord Jesus, I believe and I profess that you are the Christ, the Son of the living God. Take my life, my will, and all that I have, that I may be wholly yours now and forever." - Rhonda
One of the profound ideas I gleaned was that as Catholics we don't get ourselves to church because we have to do so. It's that we get to attend and be in the presence of the Lord and take part of his body, blood, soul and divinity. It's a gift and not an obligation. - Dot
Receiving Holy communion is being with Jesus in Eucharistic Glory for all of us. - Precilla
It was a joy and a privilege to participate in this spiritual journey. I will carry the daily meditations in my heart on my journey. The Eucharist is even more real to me today and knowing that Jesus always is waiting for me there fills me with joy. I enjoyed the daily videos and have watched them multiple times. Congratulations! Wow this has been an amazing journey! These last 33 days, personally I have enjoyed Fr. Jonathan's daily talks reflecting on the different virtues, the different aspects of the Eucharist and a different and deeper appreciation of this great gift that Christ has given to us - this daily reminder of how much our God comes to us and delights in us.
Fr. Jonathan asked what are we are most grateful for? Well over the last 33 days I've become more grateful and knowing that God does delight in me so much so, that God comes and tabernacles within me. Over these last 33 days and reflecting upon this it just blows my mind to realize that I am that loved, that I am that valued, that I am that trusted to carry the Living God within me when I receive the Eucharist. - Father Lamar
